After wearing my flat-twist frow-hawk for a few days I wanted to protect my hair before wash day, so I worked my stretch hair into this simple style 🙂

Natural hair boredom. I washed my hair last night at the last minute and then tried to style it. Big mistake! Nothing would work. So I just did this roll and tuck. It will do until I’m motivated to do my proper weekly style.
I had good day at Afro Hair and Beauty Live. This wasn’t specifically a natural hair event but a celebration of black female beauty in general. You can’t ask for more than that 🙂

Before I wash my hair I spritz with water then apply some avocado oil in sections. I let the oil soak in for about 40 minutes before washing my hair. This stops my hair from breaking when washing. You can get the same effect with extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil.
In March I decided to experiment with ‘free strands’. That means having my hair out of braids in plain English. Yeah, I thought I looked cute 🙂 I also tried a twist out which looked cute in the morning but turned dry and brittle by lunch time.
