The afro was fun but as it’s back to work on Monday I went back to basics with a flat twist up do. I wanted to do my week 14 style again but didn’t have the energy. Six hours is a long time! Maybe next week. Or the week after that.

I took my flat twists out but only for a couple of days. This is my banana clip bun. It’s simply a banana clip with the loose hair tucked in on the left. I still don’t like my hair ‘out’ so this is a stylish compromise.

I’m back to my flat twists! These are flat twists on the left and right side of my head, rolled in at the centre and tucked in at the bottom. It’s like my week 7 style but more sleek 🙂
Before I washed my hair I did a ‘pre-shampoo’ treatment, which basically means I moisturized my hair with olive oil and then de-tangled with a wide tooth comb. That’s me underneath there somewhere. Definitely not for walking down the street!
I took out my week 11 style and couldn’t be bothered to do anything so I just tucked, rolled and pinned it all up. Laziness is beginning to kick in during this long winter.
